2026 Section Pro Bono Challenge

The 2026 Section Pro Bono challenge runs from February to May. You can volunteer online and select your preferred legal aid provider or reach out to them and they will record your service and we’ll tabulate for the section score each month. Volunteering now for service completed in 2026 counts for the challenge.

Countdown to Feeling Great – 3, 2, 1!

• Volunteer online to Take 1: take a case and earn 3 points.
• Volunteer online for an Ask-A-Lawyer, Lawyer in the Library or Clinic: earn 2 points.
• Donate online in lieu of pro bono: earn 1 point for every $500 in section donations.
• 100% of donations go to legal aid.

Section chairs and winners will be recognized!

Recognition includes:

• Top volunteer from Top 10 sections earn lunch with the Nevada Supreme Court and Nevada Court of Appeals
• NEW: Section chairs can win, with the chairs of three sections with the highest points increase also joining the lunch!
• NEW: Rookie Section of the Year featured in a call-out box on the Nevada Lawyer two-page spread!
• NEW: Ultimate Challenge Champion will be the participant with the longest consecutive annual streak in the challenge and the most points overall!
• Presentation of top section award at the State Bar of Nevada’s annual Bar Conference in June
• Bragging rights for winning section
• Features in Nevada Lawyer, Pro Bono Spotlight, SBN eNews, social media
• The top 10 section participants will receive an official certificate of recognition
